How many legs does a caterpillar have?

That was me. Every night, padding down the hall to my parents' room with a question that absolutely could not wait until morning.

I never grew out of it.

Hi! I’m Fe, short for Fernanda (pronounced Faye). I was born in São Paulo, Brazil, and raised in the Big Apple. Learning to navigate two cultures meant developing a second sense for context– who something was made for, what it assumed, what it left out.  That perspective quietly became the foundation of how I design.

My work spans UX/UI, brand identity, packaging,  publication design… all rooted in the same instinct I had as a kid: to understand something fully before accepting it at face value.

What sets my process apart is that I don’t just ask what something should look like– I ask why it needs to exist, who it’s truly for, and what it should make them feel. That combination of cultural perspective, strategic thinking, and genuine curiosity is what I bring to every project.

When I’m not designing, you can find me throwing pottery, singing, thrifting, or cooking. I believe the best designers stay endlessly curious about the world outside of design, and that’s something I carry with me in everything I do.
